The civic square at the center of the city brings people up off the Riverwalk to connect with local culture and history. Completed in April 2008, the $12 million renovation created a multitude of new additions to Main Plaza. Discovery Green is 12 acre urban park on the edge of high-rise downtown and offers Houston residents from round the Houston region (and visitors) a a downtown destination with lots to do.
